took an afternoon to go back to the area around where I worked last summer. visited some of my favorite old spots as well as some new ones and just enjoyed a nice summer day walking around and taking photos
Many Corgis, Very Happy
got a chance to go to corgi con with friends. the amount of cuteness and floofy butts was overwhelming in the best way possible. had to take some pictures to commemorate the day.
Red, White, and Blue
taking pictures of my sister’s prom was a bit nostalgic. seeing the high school seniors dressed up, feeling like they’re on top of the world, was a jarring contradiction with the college life mentality. nevertheless, I was determined to make sure my sister had nice prom photos. (as an extra bonus throwback, their dress colors coincided well with our high school’s mascot, the patriots.)
Just a Bridge Away
SF may be just a 30 minute bart ride away, but I still had difficulty finding time to explore the city. school can be stressful and demanding, but I’ve been trying to focus on development outside of the academic sense, and part of that is fully getting to know my new home away from socal.
Ends and Beginnings
the end of the semester is always bittersweet. feelings of relief for finishing classes, anxiety for uncertain futures, happiness for summer, and of course, sadness for saying goodbye’s to seniors.
Very Vintage
throwing it back by taking some polaroids and film photos with my friend’s old camera. I generally like learning new things, so it was interesting working with more analog than digital equipment and venturing out of my comfort zone

A Day in the City
I usually never make time to spend a full day in san francisco actually exploring the sights and tourist spots. usually, I make a quick stop somewhere and then hurry home to finish work for school. this time, it was nice walking around with friends and taking the time to appreciate the city that is only a bart ride away.
Old Friends, Old Places
making the most of a 70-degree SoCal winter day by heading to the surrounding areas of our high school dance venue. practicing new skills with old friends. I’ve tried to shoot more during winter break, especially since I felt there was a serious lack of practice last semester. nevertheless, I’m happy with how these turned out
Let’s Go to LA
what better way to celebrate being back in SoCal than going on a drive to LA? we packed our high school friends all into one car and spent an afternoon eating, walking around, and of course, taking photos.
